Atty. Hilario B. Paredes
HILARIO B. PAREDES is currently the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Head Legal Officer of Asian Center for Legal Excellence, Inc. (ACLEx). He is likewise the Founder and Senior Partner of the Paredes Law Group (https://www.paredeslaw.com.ph) which he founded in 2006. Before that, he was a Partner in Puyat Jacinto & Santos Law Offices after holding associate positions in Castillo Laman Tan Pantaleon & San Jose Law Offices, Villanueva Bernardo & Gabionza Law Offices and the Law Firm of Alan F. Paguia.
Atty. Paredes has over 25 years of extensive experience in the fields of Telecommunications, BOT Law and Government Infrastructure (Toll Roads and Rail projects), Corporate and Commercial Law, Banking and Corporate Finance, Real Estate Law, Succession and Estate Planning, Immigration, Labor and Employment and Litigation.
Aside from his law practice, he is also involved in various businesses in real estate, telecommunications and general services. He is currently the President of Paredes Holdings, Chairman and President of NorthTel Trading Corporation and President and CEO of Deliver2U Corporation.
Atty. Paredes graduated from the Ateneo School of Law with a Juris Doctor degree in 1996, after completing his Bachelor of Arts degree major in Political Science from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1992.
Roberto T. Borromeo
ROBERTO T. BORROMEO is currently the President/CEO of Asian Center for Legal Excellence, Inc. (ACLEx). He is likewise a Trustee of the CIBI Foundation, an Independent Director of Wilcon Corporation, a Senior Board Advisor of BPM Vision Philippines, Inc. and a Financial Advisor / licensed Investment Solicitor with Sun Life of Canada Philippines Inc.
Mr. Borromeo had over 30 years of extensive experience with various financial institutions particularly in the areas of Consumer / Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Correspondent Banking, Product Development, Foreign Exchange, Trade and Investment Advisory/Consultancy and Lease Financing.
Apart from the Philippines, his market exposures have been in the financial centers of Singapore, Europe, Middle East and the United States.
Mr. Borromeo was the 2009 President of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) and the 2010 Chairman of the FINEX Research and Development Foundation.
Mr. Borromeo graduated from the Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Engineering and completed his MBA course at the University of the Philippines.
Evelyn P. Ochoco
EVELYN P. OCHOCO Is the Administrative Assistant of ACLEx. She primarily helps prepare and organize ACLEx Seminars and liaise with MCLE on all requirements to be submitted. She is also the first point person to resolve participants’ concerns and elevate such to the appropriate authorities for resolution, if necessary.
She had more than 10 years work experience in the same capacity in several leading banks.
She graduated in AMA Computer College, Quezon City, with a course of Associate in Computer Science.
